We met in Pel-e-Maenas, the kin neighborhood. Quite a few of us have houses there now and a lot of crafting facilities open to kin members. Check out the thread in the forums for a full list.
Fion discussed her goals for future Kin events.
1. A weekly Elven-themed public social RP event. A gathering in an Elven area (starting in the low level areas and gradually working up to progress through higher level Elven areas) for music, stories, poems and lore presentations as well as just casual social RP. Come to meet people. Open to all races. The first one will be held on December 2nd.
2. Special events to reconstruct Elven holidays from the lore. The next one coming up is Turuhalme, a winter solstice celebration. More details to come.
3. Large-scale, musical-drama performances of stories from the history of Middle-earth. Beginning with the Ainulindale (Music of the Ainur).
4. Our first big concert is on December 8th to celebrate Ithil's one month anniversary. If you've never played music in a group before, that's ok. We can set you up and practice beforehand. There will be new music to test before the concert so let Fion or Arachas now if you're interested and need assistance.
Arachas gave a music lesson to Sighwren and Avion and Lindale mentored Larhanya in clarinet. After playing a few songs together we broke up and several of us headed to the Great Barrows.
